The start of anything new brings many challenges. The start of a new job, moving to a new town, or even a new year. The excitement can wear off and give way to fear and stress. As with all experiences in life, this can be a little unsettling. The unknown lies before you and can leave you paralyzed and indecisive. Before long you can withdraw and start to believe that you may have made the wrong choice. The career, the relationship, the affordability of that house or that vehicle. Soon you forget all about the faith and expectancy you experienced before things got tough or uncertain. The child soon to be born, the relative coming to stay for a while. So many of our great experiences in life begin with that small sense of doubt that begins to erode the confidence that you once had. Second guesses and third guesses plague your mind. Did I? Was this? Should I have? You begin to unravel right down to your core. Your head is pounding and your heart cries out, longing to be heard, understood and to have your fears relieved. The bad thing is that this choice, this decision doesn't just affect you. There are other people involved. People you love and care about, or loved and cared about. This decision has pulled them into the storm with you. How can you know if you have made the best decision you could have made? Unfortunately, Life will always be uncertain. Our best hope is to trust in a loving God, loving Father, who no matter the circumstances, wants the best for us according to His will. I hope you will join me as we journey together to get to know the Creator of the Universe, the Loving and Perfect Father that we've always needed and the only Savior that could take our place and pay our penalty for sin.
